What is this blog about?

I’m a middle-aged father of three. Born and raised in NC. NCSU grad. Spent 4 years in Aspen. Went to culinary school in NY. Worked behind the bar for 25 years. Ran a successful wine and beverage program for 5 years. Worked as a software developer for 2 years. Now I’m a  driver at Fedex. All those hats I’ve worn has given me an opinion on just about everything! Some when some little nugget pops in my head, it goes straight to the quirky blog!

My quirky blog is a complete stream-of-consciousness type thing. There is no rhyme or reason to anything I write. Whatever pops into my head is fair game. Often I will just wax nostalgic.

For giggles! You won’t gain any profound outlooks. You won’t learn anything groundbreaking. But you’ll get to see how the mind of a true Gen Xer works. A true child of the 80’s. And when I do write about the restaurant industry, you’ll get some good insight from a veteran and a real pro. And there’s probably nothing good on TV right now, so what else are you gonna do to kill some time? Read a quirky blog, that’s what!
