They say that less is more. I have a hard time exercising restraint when it comes to creating and developing websites. I discover new sites and platforms, each with their own merits, their unique bells and whistles, and I can't help but to create yet another page. Yes, at the moment there is a lot of overlap. The plan is to prune the social media tree and only maintain my favorite few sites.
My blog is the cornerstone of my brand. Every project and website I work on will be on offshoot of my blog. It is here on my blog that I spend the majority of my time. And it is here that I pour all my creativity, all my wit, and all my sarcasm, in hopes of creating and sharing posts that people enjoy reading.
It just so happens that I have been blessed with the best family in the world. As you'll learn from reading my blog, I have lived an eventful life, full of very questionable decisions. The one thing I've done right, the one thing I'm must thankful for, are my three amazing kids and my awesome wife. And it is here that I'll get to introduce them to you.
It occurred to me fairly recently that the subject and tone of my posts was greatly affected by how dark my mind was at that moment. Some days I'm thinking of light-hearted, playful things to write about. Other days I'm wanting to lay into humanity and tell everyone who will listen, or in this case, read, just how fucked we are. I decided rather than projecting only the sunny side of the road, with all the rainbows and unicorns, I would instead post what was in my mind, no matter how dark it currently is. And by doing this, both you and I can see how depression can completely steer a person's mind. I thought it would be an interesting case study. We'll see...

My main blog website that I maintain on my own domain. Posts will originate here and then get copied to my other sites.

Bluesky is a version of social media built by many people, which comes together as a cohesive, easy-to-use experience. They've done this by building Bluesky on the AT Protocol, an open source toolbox for building social apps that can all talk to each other. The AT Protocol is a protocol for public conversation and an open-source framework for building social apps, meaning people have transparency into how it is built and what is being developed. It creates a standard format for user identity, follows, and data on social apps, allowing apps to interoperate and users to move across them freely. It is a federated network with account portability.
